2024. I started as a Modeling and Texture Artist from the first episode of the show. Later on, I began focusing more on texturing tasks and getting involved in look-dev, especially in modeling the trees and vines in the Locus environment.
Blender was used for many aspects, like modeling the vines, integrating the sand mounds with the ground, and modeling the trees, among other things. I also mentored the team on how to use the tool throughout the show.
In adition to Blender, I used tools like Mari, Painter3D, Designer and Maya. I used Mari for large-scale environments, like terrains, Spore Trees, bridges, etc. Designer was used for creating specific tiles.
I really enjoyed the freedom the studio gave me and the great team of artists that worked there!
